Fabulous tranquil watercolour painting of a Countryside scene

A genuine Antique original, British pen & ink sketch/watercolour by E.B.HERBERTE (1857-1893) of a Countryside scene, featuring The Hare and Hounds pub with red jacketed horsemen and hounds. 

Edward Benjamin HERBERTE (1857-1893) was a well listed British artist known for his hunting scenes. Most often these scenes are sold as prints, this auction is for an ORIGINAL coloured ink sketch.

A delightful sketch/painting. Colours are most like the browner images, as it was difficult to capture with glass reflecting.) Dated 1882, with full signature, bottom left. 

Perfect for  collectors of British art or lovers of Country pursuits. A classic British sketch/watercolour.
