Welcome to Antiques & Moore!

This listing is for an unusual Art Deco Sterling Silver large cigarette case, c. 1920's-1930's. The silver body has a pattern of two deep horizontal ribs alternating with a smooth surface. Case has nice clean interior with band support to hold cigarettes in place.  Each side is stamped on the interior "A.G.Y." and is numbered "621". The hinge is good and the case opens and closes correctly. No silver mark found although case tests to be Sterling Silver.

The entire case is in very good Estate condition reflecting only minor normal wear. There are a few dark tarnish spots especially on one side that may or may not be easily removed (see photos). No other noted flaws.

 Measures 3/8" high, 5 1/8" long and 3 1/4" wide.  Weighs 195 grams.
