A beautiful freely painted piece-, which captures these large headed bright petaled flowers in a dramatic manner. Very reminiscent of the impressionistic style of Van Gogh, but probably later, we estimate early 20th century, so antique.

Textured loose strokes of bright oil paint have been cleverly layered over a textured green ,brown background; and strong highlights magnify the drama of this lovely still life. (Discussions in the gallery re flower type, Dahlias, Marigolds, Chrysanthemums, Verniers?)

This fabulous framed painting is in good aged/used condition.  The beautiful gold painted wood frame, we believe to be contemporary with the painting, is in good condition with some small marking/ chip - Please check all pics.
