Oriental Rugs by John Kimberly Mumford & Oriental Rugs- Caucasus & Turkestan from the Marshal Field Co. .Mumford's book was published in 1925. This is the 4th edition. The book has a rug history, as well as "current" information on all aspects of rug-making.

The book has 24 full-pages pictures of Oriental rugs. Some are color-plate, while others are Planograph. Tissue-paper cover pages for illustrations. It also has 8 photo-engravings showing "Phases of the Rug Industry". 2 fold-out maps in back - a geographical reference for Oriental rugs.
The cover is olive green fabric w/cream lettering on the front. It also has a picture of a rug design in cream, brick orange & black. The spine has gold metallic lettering.
Condition - good. There is an ink inscription on the front endspage. Also, a very slight fabric wrinkle on the back. Otherwise good.
