This is an ORIGINAL chromolithographic print by Sherman Foote Denton from the 1899 Report of the New York Game and Fish Commission.   This print is one of some 100 superbly detailed and attractive watercolor illustrations Denton produced of various species of North American fish and other subjects for the State of New York Fisheries, Game, and Forest Commission’s Annual Reports over a century ago. Denton's illustrations exhibit wonderful color, detail, and are popular, increasingly scarce and highly collectible prints!
