DM-022, Yugoslavia at War. This sheet contains markings for
a selection of vehicles used by Yugoslavia both in World War II and in the
current civil war between the various parts of the former Yugoslavia. Markings are included for M-84, T-55 series,
T-34/85 series, Renault R-35 and American supplied M3A3, M36 and M18 tanks and
tank destroyers, as well as BRDM and M-80 series vehicles. Markings supplied also appeared on various
Yugoslavian trucks and light vehicles during the turbulent and ongoing conflict
in the Balkans.
Tips for use
- These
are laser-printed decals. As such, the
colors will look more “muted” than silk-screen printed decals, especially the
white due the thinness of the ink application.
- Use
a gloss coat under the decal to prevent silvering.
- Be
sure to cut closely to the edge of the edge of the image you wish to use as
these are not spot printed, but continuous sheets of decal film.
- These
are two stage decals! For colored decals
(other than black), place white undercoat where you want the final design to be
first, let it dry and then add the color layer.
- I
have used Solvaset and Mr. Mark Softener without problems, however, other decal
solvents may prove more detrimental to the decals.
- Seal
with another gloss coat to protect the finished image.
Please note that black areas actually print as white and are depicted to show contrast.
