This is an antique sterling silver medal from the Hackney Horse Society.
Comes in its original box which reads:

14108 Ashton Dorothy Derby, Exhibited by Dr Joseph Fuller, Banwell Horse Show, 1902.

No metal marks from what I can see but maker's mark on the medal and box is Mappin & Webb.

The medal measures approx. 44mm in diameter and weighs approx 50grams.

.
It is in collectable condition with signs of age and use wear. No damage to the silverware but the box's exterior is showing signs of age.
Please see pictures for more details.

See more of these silver Hackney Horse Society medals listed on my ebay which were owned by Dr Joseph Fuller...some boxed and others not boxed. If you do a little research you will see that Dr Joseph Fuller was one of the founders of this Society in 1883 so these are IMPORTANT boxes with his name upon them ... as you know these medals are not engraved .. the names etc are printed under the lids of the plush boxes.
