More Mother of Pearl hand carved GAMING COUNTERS & Silk THREAD WINDERS listed in my ebay shop with BUY IT NOW - BEST OFFERS .. some I have more than one of each design - duplicates from the large gaming counter sets which have MONOGRAM initials or LIVERY Crest coats of arms of the owners. I usually sell these individual to the collectors of gaming counters as they dont want multiples. You may want to buy more of the same to make up sets or you know someone with the same initials as the counters as they make very good unusual gifts. I also sell these to bespoke jewellery makers - designers. Once they are gone thats it I cannot get anymore.
Here is an antique Chinese Asian gaming counter that is made from mother of pearl. The counter has been handcarved with a geometric pattern and border on both sides but one side has the initials GM in the centre.
It is in good overall condition with some signs of age and use wear. No chips or cracks in the MoP.
