Magnificent and very decorative, colored map with the eastern hemisphere of the Old World. World map in the round up "Tropicus Capricorni" with laterally surrounded degree numbers in the outer edge showing the 12 signs of the zodiac. In the corners with dedications, coat of arms and explanations. With detailed titles in the upper and lower margin.

Very decorative, splendid coloured and well conditioned map.

CONDITION

Good to very good condition. Clean copy. Strong impression on strong handmade paper. Glorious colouring. Continuous minimal brownish. Slightly crease down next to the center fold. Extremely decorative item.

Prächtige und überaus dekorative, kolorierte Karte mit der östlichen Hemisphäre der Alten Welt. Weltkarte im Rund bis „Tropicus Capricorni“ mit seitlich umgebenen Gradzahlen, im Außenrand mit Darstellung der 12 Tierkreiszeichen. In den Ecken mit Widmungen, Wappen und Erläuterungen. Den Kartenrand bilden oben und unten die Titelleisten.

Blatt: 66 x 48 cm; Platte: 62 x 47 cm.

ZUSTAND

Gute bis sehr gute Erhaltung. Sauberes Exemplar. Kräftiger Druck auf festem Bütten. Prachtvolles Kolorit. Gleichmäßig nur minimal gebräunt.

Schwache Quetschfalte unten neben dem Mittelfalz. Überaus dekoratives Exemplar.
