This item is for the service of reprogramming an MLS  radio that you already own.  You are not purchasing the radio pictured here as an example.

You see lots of synthesized 2-way radios on ebay, but they are not much good to you unless they are programmed to your frequencies. How do you get them programmed? Send them to us. We will program your GE MLS series radio to your frequencies and Channel Guard tones or digital codes,  and tune it up for best performance (see picture of typical synthesized MLS below).  The $24.99 charge includes shipping it back to your continental US address (our Canadian friends need to add an another $10 for shipping to Canada).  We will also repair those typical MLS audio problems, such as low audio level, or distorted howling audio, or no power up at all!

A couple of things to keep in mind.  The MLS will program down to 140.1 and 440.1 mHz in the Amateur bands.  6 & 10 meter Amateur is no problem either.  The MLS II (model # ending in 1, as in MLSU241) will do tone and digital PL. The MLS I, (model # ending in 0, as in MLSL260) will only do Tone PL,
