Here is an all wood pastry jigger.... lathe turned 19thC ... a large wheel which does have some chips.... crimper - wheel cutter.
Ideal item for a museum display or a children's teaching aid - hands on item.
It is just over 5 inch long.
Provenance Note.... this is 1 of a number of items from an old antique dealers stock which I am selling at the moment..... Many items have old collectors labels on which I have left on as they make the items a little more interesting.... Some have their own dates as well on the pottery, dates include as early as 1907 and 1913 when they have been bought from where ever, private sales or auctions over the years..and the person that once owned them has written these dates on the item using pencil or even water colour paint.. I only found out when it washed off....some items have been sold at Sotheby's London and other auction houses too...interesting items.
Please note..... listed during the Corona-19 virus outbreak 2020 whilst we all want our items as quick as possible please allow for delays in the postal services and getting this item to you. I would imagine from time to time they will not be delivering to certain countries which is out of my control as well as yours and will have nothing to do with ebay control. My measurements are done with an electronic digital caliper and small weighing scales where appropriate.
