A hunter attempts to bring down a man-eating tiger in this action adventure drama. Harry Black (Stewart Granger) is hired by the local authorities to hunt down a vicious tiger in the jungles of India. While there he meets his former war associate, Desmond Tanner (Anthony Steel). This complicates matters as Tanner's wife, Christian (Barbara Rush), is the love of Black's life. The two men must put their differences aside, however, in order to defeat the savage beast.
