Vintage 1959 Sports Cars Prints by Frank Wootton 

British artist Frank Wootton was best known for his aviation art, especially the Battle of Britain, in fact he worked for the Royal Air Force during World War II.  He also did maritime work, and was an extraordinary landscape and equestrian artist.  

He also did this series of action sports car paintings, copyrighted in 1959 by Sports Car Prints in New York, and printed in England.  His work captured the speed and motion of the race cars very well.  Normally these images are found in the form of individual prints, roughly 8 1/2" x 11".  This is a rare opportunity to buy the poster with six different prints on it.

This poster features the 1929 Super-Charged Le Mans Bentley and 1926 3 Litre Bentley, Aston Martin DB 2/4 MKIII, Lotus and Vanwall Formula 1, Bugatti Type 59 Grand Prix, M.G. Model T.C., and Austin-Healey 100 Six and Alfa Romeo Giulietta Veloce Spider.  

The poster is printed on heavy paper, is in good conditon, and measures about 22 3/8" (58.8cm) x 26" (66cm).
