The package you receive will contain only the drive. The condition of this item is Re-certified New. All items sold as Re-certified new come with the warranty of a brand new item. The drive will be blank, will have 0 hours of use and will be packed in a protective anti-static bag. You will need to install your own operating system on the drive.
If you can connect your old hard drive directly to your laptop without using an adapter then there was no connector adapter attached to your old drive so the new drive won't require one either. The general rule is that if an adapter or caddy is required then you can transfer the caddy and adapter from the old drive to the new drive so you don't need to purchase these accessories again.

No, the drive is sold on its own. You will need to remove any connector/caddy from your old drive and attach it to the drive we sent you.

No the hard drive comes blank. You will need to install your own operating system.
- What brand hard drive will I receive?
Most laptop manufacturers do not manufacture their own hard drives and therefore outsource their parts. You will be send a completely compatible hard drive for your laptop. The brads range from Fujitsu, Seagate, Toshiba, Hitachi and Western Digital.
