VINTAGE M-C-M ERA Maxine Rose LADIES PRESCRIPTION EYEGLASSES. 

From the desk drawer of a recent estate; this mid-century designer eyewear is ALL ORIGINAL! 

It has clear glass lens with a gold tone metal frame that is beautifully trimmed in rose / pink colored enamel. 

Embossed "feather" designs accent the temples (see images). 

Various measurements are as follows: Overall frame width is 4-5/8"/ Bridge length is 3/4" / Temple length is 5-1/4" / Temple length to drop is 3-7/8" / Temple drop is 1-7/8" / Lens height is 1-1/8" and Lens width is 1-3/4". 

Incised lettering in the right temple reads: G.E.N.E.V.I.E.V.E. Paris Design. Incised lettering in the left temple reads: Modern Maxine Rose (see images). Incised lettering on the back of the bridge reads: 46 18. 

Remarkably, there are NO chips or cracks! 

The lens have only the very faintest scratches and although hinges, screws and nose pads all remain tight; a thorough cleaning would be in order (see images).
