Just under 2.5" long including the bail by 3/4" wide it is one of the most striking pieces we've ever seen. The opal is quite large and by itself is 1.1/4" long by 9mm wide (wow!) The color is something to write home about; a bright, almost neon or electric blue fire opal with vertical patterns in sparkling blue and green fire. A rich presentation that will certainly get you noticed. It's hard to miss, it's scale and color are sure to earn you plenty of looks and just WATCH as people around you 'dare to catch a glance' while you're not looking. It is a prized piece that will make you look like a million dollars. 

The setting is a mix of two metals: NOT plated but actually two distinct metals of solid settling silver 925 (the base and back), with accents of 14k rose gold on the front. At first glance it looks like a rose gold setting. The twigs and vines wrapping in, through around and under like a loosely woven birds' nest, is sparkling with sapphire and topaz gemstones placed strategically here and there.
