Circa 1930 pottery child's dish, 7 1/4" by 9" by 1", warm white background with metallic gold bands outlining the bowl and flange, Art Deco transfer decoration of two little girls playing with a teddy bear sitting on a ladder back chair. ' "I go here" says the Fork' and ' "I go here" says the Spoon' in gold metallic letters to either side of the dish. This piece was made by Salem China Company for International Silver Company and it was originally sold as a set with a child-sized silverplate spoon and fork that would rest on the rim of the dish. This one does not come with cutlery. Some slight crazing and wear to the glaze but no chip or cracks and the cute image and the gold accents are in very nice condition.
