Russian Sterling SPATULA Fish Motif 12" Late 19th Century / St Petersburg stamp of 2 anchors crossing a septer which was used until 1896... this is marked with Russian sterling mark 84... great piece... marked VI/AC 1895/84/St Petersburg stamp.... it is 12"  long. The handle is sterling as well as the blade. The blade is 6" long X 3 1/4" at the widest point and 2 1/4" at smaller end. The blade is about 6 3/4"... It weighs 136 grams / 4.8 oz.........Please look at the photo - The fish tail on one small part has become detached - you can see .. Doesn't really show but it is detached. Very delicate piece. Could be repaired easily I believe. I took a photo of the front of the fish tail and the back - there is nothing missing - it is just detached. There are two tiny dings on the back of the handle (please see photo)..Largest is about 3/8".... Overall very interesting and nice piece. Does need a polishing but I see no other problems other than that described..  ..Please email if you have other questions or if you feel there is a discrepancy in my description.
