About Deves
Deves is a US based company globally known for the production of high quality piston rings.
The Deves history began in Sweden in the 1930's, as a product of Bildeve i Stockholm ab - makers of precision car lifts, industrial lifts and hydraulic elevators. The line quickly established a reputation for quality and advanced design. In 1965, Janasz Corporation began importing the Deves line into the united states in 1965 and in 1976, Janasz corporation purchased the Deves factory and relocated the operation stateside where it remains to this day. Deves attributes the success of their product to the combination of highest quality Swedish steel alloys, with design and fabrication based on detailed engineering drawings and actual engines. Deves manufactures a piston ring for almost every current mass produced auto engine and has model coverage that goes back in some cases to 1928. Each ring is quality checked using a specially designed light-beam microscope for imperfections and all Deves products meet or exceed relevant SAE, DIN and BNA standards.
