This Is The Old School Race Tuners Way Of Helping Prevent Blocked Idle Jet Circuits Due To Dirt Ingress.  The Standard Idle Air Inlet Port On DRLA Carburettors Is Flush Fit With The Body Of The Carb - Right In The Low Spot Where Any Dirt That Gets In Past The Air Cleaner Can Settle. This Helps Alleviate The Problem By Raising The Idle Air Port By 30mm: Almost To The Same Level As The Air Adjuster Port On The Main Jet Stack.
