This is an antique belt or shoe buckle made from colourless glass with a gilt metal patterned border. The glass is cut facetted and been polished.
No maker's marks etc.
In collectable condition with signs of age and use wear.
There are a few small nibbles out of the edges of the glass but no large chips or cracks. There is a piece of metal down one edge which has snapped off.

It measures approx. 3 inches x 2 inches.

Scale is usually an English 1 penny coin which is 20mm dia....that is just short of 7/8ths inch dia.
