This is an antique silver plated cutlery carrier.

It has the 15th King's Hussars Regiment crest on one side with the name Waterloo and the date 26th July 1709.

Sometimes this regiment was called the 15th Light Dragoons ( Hussars ).

This has come from the officers mess at Catterick in North Yorkshire.

No maker's marks from what I can see.

In collectable condition with normal signs of age and use wear. There are some surface scuffs through use and some dints here and there. Quite a lot of the silver plate has worn off and it looks BRASSY in places especially in the bottom where the cutlery has been in an out of over the years. .

Please see pictures for more details.

It measures approx. 18 and 1/4 long x 10 and 3/4 inches wide x 5 and 1/2 inches tall.... it weighs 2.25 kilos.

What a great MAN CAVE item if you are into the 15th Kings Hussars.
