This is a rare authentic military issued combat vest / ephod of the Israeli Army (Idf / Zahal).
100% authentic - made in Israel. Has the official Israeli Army black stamp dated 1980. I was told (but I can't verify) that this vest was used by a Golani soldier in Beaufort during the 1982 Lebanon War.
In any case this ephod/vest is the very rare and hard to find FIRST GENERATION model with the LACES attaching the parts.
Rare size Large ("Gimmel"). The size is laces adjustable, with padding.
Condition: in perfect combat used condition for its about 40 years old but as well expected from an authentic item of such nature it might show some very minor wear. Please view the photo's - what you see is exactly what you will get.
The 2 metal closing buckles are intact. Usually these are broken or chipped in such old ephods.
This is the rare genuine authentic warriors Idf Military issued vest / ephod with the official Zahal mark and not those Chinese 'look alike' sold commercially at souvenir/tourist/camping shops.

eBay indicates an "estimated delivery time" which is a total fantasy…maybe good for items sent within the US. Since I ship from Israel the fact is that the actual estimated average delivery times are as follows: to the US/Canada: 17-24 business days, to Europe: 10-17 business days, to the Far East and South America: 17-24 business days and to Australia/NZ: 30 business days.
I have seen shorter and much longer delivery times but that is the average.
