Antique Japanese Lacquer Small Chest of drawers Tansu Style Jewelry Box 1800's

This red lacquered and gold gilt box/ jewelry box was made in China, circa 1870-1890's. Three 3 different size drawers which pull in and out and fit well.  Original handles. Features a hand painted bird, a flower and plants.
 
Qing Dynasty era. 

Interior wood is painted.

The design is miniature Tansu chest on 4 feet.


Good condition for it's age. Lacquer has age related wear and tear.  Worn down to the wood in some areas. Shows it is an antique! Interestly, two of the drawer separators are on the top. Loose brass small straps on either side.
