Alfa AWUS036ACHM- 802.11ac Power Boost 867 Mbps Wi-Fi Adapter

ALFA AWUS036ACHM is a long range dual band USB WiFi adapter compatible with Microsoft Windows PCs. It features an RP-SMA antenna port and a 5 dBi dual-band antenna. The antenna is detachable and can be upgraded. It also has a power amplifier that increases it's reception range compared to ALFA's single antenna 802.11n products.

This is capable of receiving and transmitting on both the 2.4 GHz and 5 Ghz bands. With 802.11ac standard routers, AWUS036ACHM can achieve throughput speeds up to 433 Mbps. This adapter is backward compatible with 802.11n WiFi routers, but will have limited speed with those networks. An 802.11ac router is required for the maximum throughput.

The high receive sensitivity coupled with the internal power amplifier also allow it to pick up Wi-Fi signals from up to 3 times the distance of newer internal 802.11ac Wi-Fi cards shipping inside today's laptops. This is brand new in retail box and includes the adapter, a 5 dBi dual-band detachable antenna, and a clip you can use to attach it to a laptop LCD bezel. Compatibility

It will work with any computer that has an available USB port and Window Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8/8.1, or Windows 10. Kali Linux now supports packet injection for this adapter (see our Youtube Rokland Technologies channel video guide). 

DRIVER CD not included: With many modern laptop and desktop PCs no longer having a CD or DVD drive, ALFA has phased out the driver CD out of environmental waste concerns. Inside your box on the instruction sheet is a link to the free driver download. This method is $19.95 ($12.95 to Canada)- yes US Post Office hiked rates by about 50% in 2016, so unfortunately rates are much higher than in the past. This can take 2-4 weeks or longer to arrive. This is primarily because the item can be held at customs for inspection for a long period. We also offer::
