Directions for First Use:

Wash the sponge thoroughly before first use. Add a small quantity of bath foam and massage your body with circular moves. After use remember to rinse the sponge thoroughly and gently squeeze the water out and dry the sponge. Sea sponges are not meant for Strength Testing :), hence should not attempt to pull it apart.

Periodic Care:

1) Rinse the sponge under cold running water.

2) Soak the sponge into a bowl with water and vinegar or baking soda solution to a 10:1 analogy, and leave to soak for 8 hours.

3) Remove it from the bowl and squeeze it to remove excess liquid.

4) Set out to dry on a clean surface, such as the bathtub, or hang out to dry using the hanging cord.

5) Use again. The sponge should be as good as new.

Important Note: SHAPE, COLOUR, and SIZE

Due to the natural origin of the sea sponge, there might be instances where the sponge you receive slightly varies in shape and/or color shade from those presented in pictures. Rest assured however that you have made the right choice since all our products are of excellent quality. Please note that Sponges are often cut from bigger pieces, this does not reduce their durability or quality. Sizes are Approximate.

Quick Tip:

The product comes with a hanging cord which will be particularly useful for hanging and drying your honeycomb sponge. Drying your sponge is essential in order to prolong its life and maintain hygiene.
