The date code and model data i have found suggests this pair was manufactured in 1994

This is a hybrid Imperial / Comfortech model, which was first introduced in 1991

It has the style and craftsmanship of the Imperial line with Flor-Flex cushioning used for walking shoes

Blake Stitch construction with a nice stitching density.

Rubber half-soles skived over leather.

Original rubber Florsheim toplift with barely any wear on the corners.

The factory finish on these shoes looks reminiscent of shell cordovan, but the creases are a dead give-away.

These shoes have been conditioned and shined with Saphir Renovateur and Saphir Pommadier while reshaped in shoe trees.

There is some creasing on the flex points, but most of it has been reduced/removed with some massaging with Saphir Renomat.

Both the uppers and outsoles have been given a final pass of a thin layer of Saphir Pate De Luxe in neutral color for a nice gloss.
