Thank you for visiting Shanna's Attic.

This listing is for an historical collection of material from the First World war suitable for anyone interested in history but designed primarily for use as a teaching kit. All the relics in the collection are genuine items dating back to the period of the First World War. Many items are housed in display cases, and a set of colour information cards comes with the collection describing the items included.

The collection includes such items as shrapnel, cigarette silks, Cavalary horse shoe nail, pocket change, a post card sent from a Tommy from the trenches to loved ones at home etc. The shrapnel comes from both the Somme and Paschendale. The cavalry horse shoe is stamped with the Royal Crown and the pocket change is dated from the war years. The cigarette silk was issued in the packets of cigarettes that were ubiquitous in the trenches. All genuine items that make you think about who in the past handled them, especially the soldier that mailed the post card home - did he survive the war?

Shipping is combined on all orders. In most cases you pay only one shipping fee no matter how many items you decide to purchase. Simply add them to your shipping cart to checkout.
