This is a hand painted lid on the Mauchline ware box.
It has grubbiness and slight knocks and chips on it.. on the lid which can be seen. Cleaned up it will look better.
Red lined and the hinges are brass and work .. typical hinge type slotted into the wood seam.
Box has old collectors labels on the underside.
It is 4 inch long x 3 inch wide x 1 and half inch deep.
