Finally, there's a fast, simple way to get your wheeled, sometimes heavy, trash cart down your long driveway to the street for pickup! The Bighorn Trash Hitch™  is designed to take away or remove the physical stress and labor of this weekly task!  It’s easy to use, fits most standard waste company wheeled trash cans, doesn't require any tools / wrenches, and can be easily hooked up to any motorized vehicle ball and receiver hitch to transport a refuse cart with wheels and pull it to the designated location.  The large "horns" not only secure the trash receptacle for transporting, but keep the lid from opening so trash doesn't spill everywhere! It won't come off until you remove it, and will easily swivel when making turns or driving down steep driveways!  The Bighorn Trash Hitch fits 1 7/8 inch, 2 inch, and 2  5/16 inch hitch balls so there is no need to switch out your hitch or change the ball, and is light enough for any person to handle!  It also has no moveable parts to wear out, and should provide years of reliable use.   Simply slip small "horns" under the hitch ball facing downward (fig 3), lift up, turn and flip Bighorn so "horns" face upward to secure (fig 3-4).  Tilt trash receptacle, place the large "horns" through handle on cart and you're ready to roll!  (fig 4).   Want to haul more than one trash can at a time?  The Bighorn Trash Hitch Piggyback(sold separately), allows up to 3 trash to be towed at one time, making the weekly task so much easier!  Note: The Bighorn Trash Hitch™ has a painted finish, however, applying metal to metal while using may cause paint chipping.  This will not interfere with the function of the Bighorn Trash Hitch™.   NOTE:  The vehicle towing the trash receptacle should never be driven faster than the speed which a person who pulls the trash cart/receptacle by hand would go if doing a fast walk, as the wheels on these trash receptacles are not designed for fast speeds.  It is recommended that trash carts not exceed 250 lbs.  Patent No. D931766.
