Winner of three Academy Awards, including Best Picture, Casablanca has since become an all-time favourite. Directed by Michael Curtiz, and starring Humphrey Bogart, Ingrid Bergman, Paul Henreid, Claude Rains, Conrad Veidt, Sydney Greenstreet and Peter Lorre (plus As Time Goes By, as played again by Sam).

Filmed and set during World War II, it focuses on Rick, an American expatriate bar owner in the Vichy-controlled city of Casablanca, who must choose between winning back his ex-lover, Ilsa, or helping her and her new husband, Victor, a Czech resistance leader, escape to continue his fight against the Germans. 

Disc one contains the film and commentaries, disc two contains a range of special features including a documentary on Bogart and a tribute to the film hosted by Lauren Bacall, an episode from the 1955 US TV series Casablanca and a 1943 radio adaptation of the film starring Bogart, Bergman and Henreid.
