Superb. vintage antique 1855 handcolored map, titled South America. Printed at lower left hand side is Entered according to Act of Congress in the year 1855 by S.S. Cornell, in the clerk's office of the District Court for the Southern District of New York. This dates the map nicely. Fascianting, detailed and attractive period map of South America. There is an antique ink spot at bottom, not that bad. The map is in nice condition and would frame and display beautifully. The size of the map is 11" by 13.5". Rare.
