The time-of-flight detection technology of the TOF10120 is implemented by Sharps SPAD (Single Photon Avalanche Diodes) using an inexpensive standard CMOS process. It enables a precise result on site, a higher immunity to ambient light and a better robustness against optical crosstalk of cover glass due to a special optical housing design.
