Installing a high pressure, high flow 255LPH, 340LPH, or 450LPH fuel pump in your domestic or import performance vehicle increases fuel delivery far above what the stock fuel pump was ever capable of. A hotwire relay setup releases the full potential of the new pump by guaranteeing that clean, consistent voltage reaches the pump. Tests have shown that running a hotwire kit wiring can increase a fuel pump's output by 60-100LPH, compared to running the pump using the old, oftentimes deteriorated stock wiring. Our kits include a SEALED Hella weatherproof 40amp relay and socket, 12" pigtail, as well as a mounting tab for the relay.

Shown below is a fuel pump flow test showing how when voltage increases, so does fuel pump output. Take not of the "COSMO" fuel pump and the output at different voltages. The closer the pump gets to 13.5V/ 13.8V (an alternator's typical output), the higher the pump's output.
