You will get 2 of the brand new brass adapters pictured. These adapters will make your 1/4" B.S.P. gas valve fit into your 3/8" B.S.P hole. B.S.P. British Straight Pipe not to be confused with U.N.S. This is not a tapered thread but a straight thread.  When you measure pipe thread it is by the ID not the OD, so if you have a 1/2" hole in your tank you can screw this in the smaller 5/8" OD threaded push pull petcock which is most commonly used on the BSA twins. That smaller size is also used on Triumph and some singles. You can epoxy these into your fiberglass gas tank and use the push pull petcocks and end the leaks.
