Hello everyone 👋.
I am selling my AMAZING, UNIQUE product, SLEEPER EDGING as an EASY to INSTALL kit 😁👍.
I offer 200mm, 300mm, 400mm and 475mm heights.
I have used my GALVANISED STEEL TUBE method as per my Wooden Post and Rope Kits but this time there is a DOUBLE TUBE setup which protrudes from the end of the sleeper by about 300mm, the tubes are then pushed into the ground to secure the sleepers.
A rubber mallet on the top of them makes the job easier 👍.
This means that there is NO DIGGING to do and the effect can be created VERY QUICKLY and EASILY.
My 4 samples only took me 10 minutes to install!

The wood is a softwood but treated so suitable for outdoor use.

Note: Currently I advise that if the soil height is different to the ground level then it should be no more than +300mm and the customer should also put a membrane against the inside face of the sleepers to ensure they last longer against rot.

IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ 👀
Terms and conditions:
1. This is a made to order product (bespoke) and refunds CANNOT be given once the order is started.
2. The sleepers are of a "good" quality for outdoor use but they are NOT perfect as wood can already have splits or it can develop splits, the knots can also sometimes fall out. Please do not expect perfect edging as that would be impossible on a natural timber product. Colour variation is also something to take into account, sometimes they are light coloured and sometimes they are some shades darker, depends on what the timber supplier sends me to work with when I order.
The sleepers are sanded slightly on the 5 faces and the sharp edges are removed.
3. The sleepers are pressure treated which sometimes leaves green dots on the surface of the posts, it is NOT mold. You can easily sand it again if you want to (the sleepers are already sanded over) or you can stain or paint them. The sleepers are NOT painted by me they are a natural wood finish.
4. The fixing tubes are supplied loose. The bottom of the sleepers are pre-drilled to suit. To assemble then put the tubes in the hole as far as it will go by hand and then hit the bottom of the tube with a hammer or mallet.
If the sleeper edger is 200mm then you will have approx 220mm of tube protrusion, if the sleeper edger is 300mm or longer then approx 320mm of tube protrusion.
5. Sometimes (1 in 100), the delivery may be a little later than normal. Once manufactured I send my products on a 24h delivery service. I have no control of the delivery once I dispatch it. If it is running late then let me know and I will let you know what is happening. If it is running late then I cannot give you a refund because of this as it would not be my fault once it has been dispatched, if it gets lost by the dispatch company (never happened before) then I can either make it again or you can cancel the order.
6. Please make sure if you are putting these into SOFT ground that the ground doesn't have hard bits in it e.g. brick, concrete etc. I suggest you either drill or hammer something 320mm long into the ground to see what it is like, if the ground has hard bits in it then you will need to drill/chisel it out to clear it.
REFUNDS WILL NOT be given if you go to install it and encounter a problem as the customer needs to do a ground survey BEFORE ordering!
7. The sleeper edgers are made from 200mm x 100mm sleepers but the actual sizes can vary from batch to batch, usually they are 195mm x 95mm thick but they can be bigger or smaller.
8. Delivery is usually 5 to 7 working days but it depends on how busy I am at the time of ordering.
