Silver filigree is a form of intricate metalwork, usually of gold and silver, fairly popular in Asia and Europe (Italian, French and Portuguese). The 925 silver filigree is handmade using 92.5% pure silver tiny beads and twisted threads, resulting in delicate, lacey design artistic pieces.

This is a large size 925 Sterling Silver Filigree, Farmer with Plowing Oxen, beautifully handcrafted  using 137.80 grams of 92.5% silver threads. It is vintage new; never worn/displayed, c 2008. Made in Java; priced according to the intricate artistic, meticulous design as well as the net weight of the respective silver piece. This figurine is presented in a unique glass display with a fabric/batik covered wooden frame. New, never displayed. Box dimensions: 10 ¼” x 6 ¾” x 4 ¾”.
