Very Rare Paragon Patriotic Series Handpainted Double Warranted Teacup And Saucer set produced during the war of Britain. Gorgeous decorative shaped teacup with dainty handle and golden rimmed foot. The set is on over all in very good shape, no chips or cracks areas of crazing, or loss to the paint or heavy utensil marks. Gold gilding is in decent shape there are some areas of slight wearing I’ve tried my best to photograph! There are a few little flaws from manufacturing (paint drip, sand grains possibly under glazing (can see in photo) ) pin mark in saucers pinta , both items do have a nice ring to them, painted imagines in beautiful shape! Teacup stands 2” tall with a diameter of 4” handle is 1” outward from the cup. Scolloped saucer that reads a quote from Winston Churchill “Never Was So Much Owed By So Many So Few” Measures 5.5” in diameter and stands 1” off flare surface. Dates to 1940. Truly a wonderful item hard to find!
