Story of IWACHU, once a small ironware maker in Japan

Iwachu is a Nambu ironware (traditional Japanese brand) maker founded in 1902 in Morioka city, Iwate Prefecture in Japan.
The story of the small ironware maker becoming a global company is fascinating.
On the road, there were many hurdles like the discontinuation of production due to the Pacific War.
But, being proud of its tradition and skillful craftsmanship, Iwachu has been challenging and delivering the best products for a long time.

The first opportunity for Iwachu to sell products overseas was an European trade fair held over 30 years ago.
Three years later, Iwachu developed its own technology to color ironware with colorful colors.
Unprecedented coloring is well received in Europe, and tea shops in France asked Iwachu to make colorful teapots.

"IWACHU" has now become so popular among European retailers that it has become a synonym for ironware.

This is a part of the story of Iwachu, becoming IWACHU of the world from a small Nambu ironware maker.
They keep challenging today.
