Description

Vintage British Ordnance Survey 7th (Seventh) Series One-inch maps, in long matt covers. This cover style was in use from about 1960 to 1965, although occasionally the Ordnance Survey used this cover on slightly older maps to use up old stock.  This means that all maps in this listing are out of copyright (as Crown Copyright lasts for 50 years), so you are free to reproduce these maps any way you wish.  These maps also cover the Beeching Era of railway cuts.

Choose one or more maps from the list below.  We automatically combine postage for orders of more than one map; the UK postage cost is £1.75 for one map, plus £0.25 for each additional map (similar terms are available for overseas orders).

To order, select the number of sheets you would like, and then complete EBay checkout.  Once you have placed your order, please message us via the "Contact Seller" link on eBay to let us know which sheet(s) you would like.  We can often accommodate orders for multiple copies of the same sheet, but please do contact us beforehand to check availability.

Please note that the maps in the pictures are illustrative of our stock, and may not be the actual maps available for sale.  We do guarantee that all maps will be in very good condition, and the covers will be VG or near-VG (possibly with light wear to the edges, an inscription or a label).

One of our pictures illustrates the index of this series, to help you identify which sheets cover which areas.  If you are unsure which sheet(s) cover the area you are interested in, please do contact us.

Maps in this cover were produced both on paper and on cloth.  For many sheets, we have both cloth and paper versions available.  By default, we will send you a cloth version (if one is in stock), unless you tell us that you prefer a paper copy.
