Universal needles have a normal round point and are designed for general sewing on a home sewing machine.
Jersey needles have a medium ball point and are designed for sewing on knit fabrics. The medium ball point gently separates fibers of the fabric to help create a secure stitch.
Jeans needles have a slim set needle point which reduces resistance as the needle passes through material (fabric). The flexible nature of the needle helps prevent needle and thread breakage when sewing through thick material such as denim, canvas, coated fabrics, etc.
Embroidery needles have a light ball point and a unique scarf (cutaway section above the needle eye) which allows for greater stitch formation and control when stitching in multiple directions.
Leather needles have a uniquely-shaped point which is designed to cut through thick material, such as leather and suede.
Twin Universal needles have a normal round point and are designed for general sewing on a home sewing machine. The space between each needle is measured in millimeters and is designated by the number following the size of the eye.
