Pre 64 PUMA 3591 Waidmesser / Gamekeeper Knife. This knife has genuine stag handles with the silver hex shield. There is no guarantee control number on the knife. This indicates the knife was made prior to 1964.  The model number is 3591. This is an all time classic Puma knife mint in the factory Puma green and gold box. 

The knife comes with the factory leather sheath. This knife was hand made (Handarbeit") in Solingen Germany as the knife making capitol of the world since 1769. The blade is 4 1/4" long and the knife is 8 3/4" overall in length. The blade is made from German Besteel steel.

The handles are from gorgeous stag with lots of character. The handles are pinned with five brass rivets. The finger guard is made from polished German silver.

The front of the blade is etched with the PUMA logo  PUMA WERK - SOLINGEN MADE IN GERMANY - HANDARBEIT - BESTELL No. - 3591.

This is a great example of a high quality vintage Puma knife. The knife comes in the PUMA box. The 3591 knife also comes with a genuine leather sheath.

This PUMA knife was hand made at PUMA Werks in Solingen Germany prior to 1964. It is made to the the highest Puma quality. 

Puma handmade 3591 has a blade made of German Besteel steel. Genuine stag handle pinned with five brass rivets.
