Our brom are made from extra long broom corn grown
specifically for constructing besoms.
The handle are made from straw corn.
They are an effective sweeper of dust, litter and leaves,
and as such are invaluable in the home as well as
in the garden or yard.
The corn broom head is made from a type of sorghum known as rice straw.
The seeds of the sorghum plant are used for cattle fodder
and the stems are dried to make straw for brooms.
The straw is thin, light and strong,
which is what you want to make the best brooms.
