This is an antique ART DECO era guilloche enamelled base metal coin purse which has been hand painted with a little floral pattern on the front. It also has a small pocket watch embedded into the top left hand corner which is accessible from the inside.

The interior has space for the pocket watch, a spring-loaded sovereign holder, and a little compartment with a sepia photograph of a lady on the lid. I assume this would be a perfect space for a powder compact with its size and shape. The purse comes on a short length of chain.
No maker's marks or metal marks from what I can see.

In collectable condition with normal signs of age and use wear. Unfortunately the enamelling on the exterior is damaged in a few places. There are a couple of cracks on the left hand side of the front and some chipping near the watch. There is also some chipping on the back, one of which has chipped all the way through to the bottom layer of metal.

The pocket watch is in a compartment at the back and I have not been into it. There is a glass missing from the front, white enamel dial and blued hands. The crown wind is fully wound.. so it is NOT working. 

It measures approx. 3 and 5/8 inches x 2 and 3/8 inches x 1/2 of an inch....it weighs approx. 650 grams.

Scale is usually an English 1 penny coin which is 20mm in diameter which is just short of 7/8ths of an inch in diameter.
