Description
This is a Toshiba Satellite L30 11D model number PSL33E laptop being offered for spares/repair/parts only. The laptop has 2gb of ram installed plus has a 60gb hard drive, it has a genuine copy of Windows 7 Home Preminum installed. The battery holds a good charge.
The dvd drive needs attention in so far as when you press the eject button the dvd ejects half way then appears to get stuck but you can then use your hand to open it the rest of the way and likewise when you need to close it it goes halfway fine then appears to hit something but will close if you then push it by hand but its a bit stiff. The dvd player appears to work fine.
There appears to be a problem with the speakers possibly the headphone socket too as although the sound driver is showing as working ok and is not muted and the volume is currently set to 82% there is no sound output from the speakers and if I remember rightly the volume was initially a while back low barely audible. The USB ports all appear to work fine.
The silver lid has usage type scratches and scuffs, one scratch appears to be around 5 inches long and is dark in colour and there is another noticable approx 1 inch scuff type scratch revealing a white under colour.
The hard drive is showing to be in good health with no sectors detected and is showing a power on time of 1007 hrs. The built in wifi appears to be working ok, it currently has Mozilla Firefox and Microsoft Edge installed.
No charger with this, one was only borrowed to test it with.
