There’s a small business on a tiny island called St.Kitts that sells stunning handmade batik fabrics. For those of you who are unfamiliar with the term batik, it is an ancient Indonesian art form that uses wax and dye. The business on the island is called Caribelle Batik and here they make many unique, vibrant fabrics using this method. They’ve been selling their fabrics for over 40 years! In fact quilters in the past have travelled to the island just to get the fabrics. Luckily for you all they launched an online store last year and added fabrics to their range this month!
