This is a Multi Choice auction for a Used Vintage Schwinn Chainguard off and or for Vintage Schwinn Middleweight and Possibly Early Lightweights Bicycles that had 26" Wheels. Your Selection from the menu. The Chainguard is this style Guard was used from the Middleweight introduction in 1955 till 1958. The Chainguard mounting holes are Approximately 17" or 17 1/4" apart center to center (CtoC), the Rear hole is about 1/2" long giving you about 1/4" of adjust-ability. I believe these chainguards to be the same but given the guards one rivet back brace it moved around to different lengths. The Chainguard is Used, has Patina, may have rust & dents, may have original paint or over paint, may be Rat Rod Style, comes as your selection shows, could use a cleaning and some massaging. Guards are universal, if your going to repaint, I would choose the straightest & cleanest. These Guards were used on Early Vintage Schwinn Bikes Like: American, Jaguar, Tiger, Corvette, Co-ED, Racer, Speedster and can possibly be used on Other Schwinn Middleweight Bikes Like: Fleet, Typhoon, Panther, Heavy Duty, Starlet, Hollywood, etc....
