This model is extremely difficult to find. In fact it was produced for and distributed solely by Volkswagen company who, as it seems, added it as a gift to first buyers of Phaeton model. 

The Omas Phaeton is an oversized celluloid piston-filler. 

Only 650 pieces were made exclusively for Volkswagen to promote their top-of-the-line Phaeton model. 

This edition has never been in the market, all 650 pens have been distributed solely via Volkswagen.

The pen is oversized and feels very solid, medium weight, and precisely constructed. 

It's shaped as Ogiva models (cigar shape), the clip is sturdy and has a built in roller to ease the pen in and out of shirt.Specific feature: the cap that has metal ending.

Piston-filler works smoothly and the pen feels very soild and substantial in the hand. 

Omas pearl grey celuloid looks fantastic. It's aesthetically pleasing, well build pen that's almost impossible to find on aftermarket.

 

No box, no papers (and no car). Unused condition. Fully working and ready to write with.


A fine piece that isn't common and is becoming more desirable following OMAS' unfortunate close. This is from original OMAS, not one of the several reissues or custom pens that appeared later. Collector's item.
