RollerDerby was a classic TV show from day one in 1948 through the 70’s.

At 8:30 P.M. on November 29, 1948,Roller Derby debuted on New York television,beginning a 13-week run on the CBS-TV network, broadcasting at a timewell before television was in widespread use. Roller Derby became a classicsports program through the 70’s.

You can only find parts of thetelevised Roller Derby games today. This rare video is a complete game betweenthe Bay Area Bombers and the Red Devils. The games were show in two parts,first and send halves in TV syndication.
