Characteristics

Old fashioned violet-blue beauties are incredible naturalisers, that last up to 4 weeks in the garden and multiply impressively each year. Strong stems with masses of dainty blue blooms, great for borders, beds, rock gardens and ground cover.

Instructions for planting

• Plant 4" deep and 3-4" apart
• Plant in a well drained soil
• Will tolerate full shade/ full sun / half sun / half shade
•  After blooming cut the withered flower at the top of the stem to prevent seed production.
• Allow leaves to wither and turn brown before removing. The green leaves provide nourishment to the bulb.
